We Mean Green Club Meeting
Our first monthly meeting will be held on Friday, September 10th, in 5A, from 3:15-4:30pm. All students interested should have reviewed the website explaining the Disney Planet Challenge: http://disney.go.com/planetchallenge/index.html




Homework for the week of

Monday

Tuesday 
5th Science:  
Read Lesson 4, pages 22-25.  Answer Checkpoint questions # 1 and 2 from page 25.  

By Friday, memorize the 6 Kindgom names/spelling/order, from most complex to least complex.  Test on FRIDAY--which will include listing the 8 classifications of organisms, and the 6 kingdoms.  Names must start with capital letters and be spelled correctly.  There will be a bonus question worth 5 points:  Writing the 5 classes of vertebrates.


5A Reading:  Research Stephen Hawking.  List 6 facts on learning map, by Thursday.  Please illustrate and color beautifully.  This will be a Reading grade.  

5A Vocabulary:  If you didn't do during class, please complete pages 12-13.

6th Science: Read Textbook pages 13-15.  Complete WORKBOOK page 13.  Worksheets 1 and 2 (3D model project) are due tomorrow (Wednesday)  These need to be complete and neat.  They will be counted as grades.

Wednesday 
5th Science:  Homework assigned on Tuesday is due tomorrow. 

5A Reading:  Research on Stephen Hawking due tomorrow.  Please color and illustrate learning map.  

5A Vocabulary:  Complete page 14, if not completed in class.

6th Science:  
Complete pages 13 & 14 in Workbook.  

Try to access the self assessment: PHSchool.com   WebCode cja-1010  ( pg. 29).  Report any issues tomorrow.

Thursday 
5th Science:  Test tomorrow.  (See Tuesday for particulars)
5A Religion:  Complete page 40 and return on Friday.  

For Monday: Recite Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy OR do a flip book for each OR you can recite one and do a flip book for another.  You decide!  Flip books must be illustrated in color.  

5A Vocabulary: Complete page 15

6th Science:  Open Book quiz tomorrow on Chapter 1.  All students should have either received a corrected copy of Worksheet 1 & 2, or met with me today or after school to receive feedback and help.  Students may begin to build their models as soon as Worksheet 1 & 2 have been approved.  Models are due on Sept. 16th.
