Teacher's Note:
I hope you all enjoyed the long Labor Day weekend.  We are back to working on our geography skills.  We will wrap things up with map making this week.



Events for the week:


VOCABULARY
Students should be working each day on a vocabulary assignment as spelled out in a daily work sheet they have in the back of their textbooks. If the daily work is not completed it becomes homework that night. There are 3 grades for vocab. They are classwork/homework, vocab meaning test, and a spelling test. The first test on Unit 1 is next Friday, 9/10.

Tuesday 
Social Studies- 5th and 6th grade should be reviewing geography terms.  There will be a quiz on Thursday.
Vocab- Unit 1, Week 2, Day 2, complete page 25

Wednesday 
Social Studies-5th and 6th grade quiz tomorrow on map vocabulary terms.  STUDY!
Vocab- Unit 1, review for test Friday

Thursday 
Social Studies- 5th grade complete your US maps.
Vocabulary- Study for Unit 1 test
