Teens for Jeans

Teens for Jeans is a project sponsored by Aeropostale and other organizations  to collect jeans for local homeless shelters. For this project we are asking for USED jeans in any and every size. Please remember that this is a collection for JEANS only.  The school that brings in the most jeans can help their school win $5000 and new AERO jeans for all students. This fundraiser began January 16 and ends February 12th. If you want to learn more about it, visit teensforjeans.com and watch the video.  Please send all used jeans to 8B or to the school office.

Bags of Bounty

This year, our PreK-5th grade Thanksgiving Project is called “Bags of Bounty.” Each student should bring in a paper bag full of nonperishable Thanksgiving foods and an envelope of money for a turkey. The food items include canned corn, canned peas, instant mashed potatoes, canned cranberries/sauce, boxed stuffing mix, canned yams/sweet potatoes, holiday cookies, and candy. Our goal is for each class to have 100% participation. Thank you!

Funds for Feast

This year, our 6th-8th grade’s Thanksgiving Project is called “Funds for a Feast.” Each student will receive a bag, which they will fill with money that they have earned over the course of these few weeks. The bags should be returned by November 16th. The grade that wins (6th, 7th, or 8th) will receive an ice cream treat. The funds will go towards the turkeys for the St. Vincent de Paul Thanksgiving baskets.  Thank you!

Dollars for Scholars

Our next Dollars for Scholars Collection will be on November 10. So far, Pride has raised $314.86, and Spirit has raised $199.94. Our total is $614.80. That’s fantastic! Please bring in your money and help us reach our goal!

Thank you!
