STEM

What is STEM?
STEM is the integration of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

How is it taught?
The STEM approach weaves its lessons across all subjects. It offers students an opportunity to create, plan and integrate year-long, inter-disciplinary projects into each school year. STEM learning provides opportunities for collaboration, not only with other students, but with experts in the field.

Third graders work on their STEM project which explores the question of whether it’s best to grow lettuce the traditional way - in soil, or hydroponically.
